Germanna Community College offers the following programs of study. Dental Hygiene, PreNursing, Practical Nursing, and Associate Degree Nursing. ********** Applicants MUST see a Nursing Advisor and have a signed Student/Advisor Worksheet on file when submitting an Application. ********** ***Pre-Admission and Achievement Testing*** The Nursing Pre-Admission testing will be given on an ongoing basis in the Testing Centers at FAC and LGC unless otherwise advised. (If you have taken one in the past 3 years and scored at the 45th program percentile or higher you do not need to retake the test. Please provide the Nursing & Health Technology Office with a copy of your test scores). ******************** Criminal Background Check A criminal history record MUST be submitted with the nursing program application. Admission to the program will be contingent upon the results of the background check. Please see the information below for acquiring a background check. Misrepresentation on the application will result in dismissal from the Nursing Program. Nursing Scholarships Available Foundation and Nursing Scholarships have been posted online. Please click on Scholarship Info under Popular Links on the Germanna Homepage. Hard copies may be picked up at the Foundation Office or Financial Aid. Contact the Financial Aid Office at 540-423-9124 for information regarding all scholarships.
