Research Assistance

Research assistance is available in-person during all hours the libraries are open. A library staff member will be happy to assist you in finding information and using library resources. If you need assistance with a specific assignment, please bring any written instructions provided by your instructor. This will help us to help you more effectively.

Online research assistance is available through the interactive chat service LRC Live. This online service is staffed by VCCS librarians and provides extended hours beyond the hours the GCC libraries are open. Click here to access this reference service now.

Research assistance is also available via telephone or email. Please note that not all research questions can be adequately addressed through a telephone call or email and may require additional in-person assistance.
