SPRING 2010 PART-TIME STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
The LGC GSSA is sponsoring the GSSA Spring 2010 scholarship for part-time (12 credits or less) Germanna students. The award will be $400.00 and can be used towards tuition and books fees. Applications will be available during Spring registration. Applicatons will be available at the receiptionist windows of the Fredericksburg, Locust Grove and Daniel Technology campuses. FAC GSSA ADOPTS A HIGHWAY
The FAC GSSA has acquired a part of road to maintain under VDOT's Adopt-a-Highway program. The stretch of road is
from Route 17/Lee's Hill School Drive (by the 7-Eleven) all the way down to the Fredericksburg Campus entrance. Please
join us on March 6 at 1:00 PM for the next service day. For more information please contact an officer of the FAC GSSA. ..
FREDERICKSBURG FOOD BANK
The Fredericksburg Food Bank is in desperate need of donations!
Please assist the FAC-GSSA in providing help to those in need. Our collection box is located at the front entrance to FAC1.

Application deadline is August 1, 2008.

BATTERED WOMEN'S SHELTER
All year round the LGC GSSA is collecting supplies for the Sheltering Arms Battered Women's
Shelter in Orange. A collection box is located in front of Room
303 at our Locust Grove Campus. Click here to review a list of needed supplies.
USED EYEGLASSES COLLECTION
Ever wonder what to do with those hundreds of dollars worth of old eyeglasses sitting around, unused, in the drawer because the prescription no longer works for your eyes? You could consider donating those old eyeglasses, and by doing so, you might be giving someone else the gift of sight. Read more... Questions regarding this project can be directed to Ann Alizio.
