the Testing Center at the Fredericksburg Area Campus
will be:
Monday - Thursday: 11am - 7pm
Friday - Saturday: 9am - 1pm
Sunday: Closed
Testing Center Services
Germanna Community College's Distance Learning Department provides testing services
for faculty in the Testing Center. Students needing this service should
check with the Testing Center prior to coming in to take a test to make
sure that the test is at the campus most convenient to them. If the student
wishes to change the location of a test, they must contact the appropriate
faculty member to have it moved. Along with class tests the Testing Center at LGC
also administers the Computer Competency
Test (which can only be taken once).
Students must know their Student ID Number and have a form of ID with a
recent picture to take a test in the Testing Center. Please arrive in the
Testing Center an hour before closing to take your test. If the test requires
two or more hours to complete, make sure you arrive 2+ hours prior to closing.

Testing Center Rules
- Test can be proctored ONLY during the hours of operation posted.
- Tests must be started at least ONE hour before closing.
- Students must know their Student ID Number.
- A recent photo ID is required to take a test, no exceptions.
- No children are allowed in the testing center.
- No books, calculators, notes, or other aids are allowed in the testing area unless noted by the professor on the test cover sheet.
- Student must know the name of the professor, the test name or number and the course name or number.
- Tests must be completed in one sitting. If you have not completed the test by closing you will be required to turn the test into the attendant.

Germanna Community College provides proctoring for students participating in classes at other education institutions.
If you are interested in having a test proctored at the Fredericksburg Area Campus of Germanna Community College please read the Proctoring Procedures document. If you agree with the procedures please fill out a Proctor Request Form and submit it to Germanna Community College before requesting any tests be sent to the Testing Center at Germanna Community College.
